Summer 2025
It looks like another performance of my string sextet Flux Alluvia might be on the cards. This will likely take place in the Scottish Borders in Summer 2025; date and venue tbc. Please join my mailing list for more information.
Last year I was delighted to receive a commission to write something inspired by the River Tweed. I was even happier when Amici, an incredibly talented string sextet, agreed to perform a piece if I wrote one for them. And so, FLUX ALLUVIA was born.
It will be performed for the first time on Sunday 17 March at 3pm in Kelso Old Parish Church. If you live locally, do come along. The concert will also be filmed.
I am delighted to announce that I’ve been awarded Second Prize in The Sheffield Chorale 50th Anniversary Composing Competition.
My song, Greet Again the Mountain, was performed by the choir at their 50th anniversary concert in Sheffield on Saturday 16 November 2024.
